  • diet help please look !!!!!

    im 27 yr old male 17%bf 218lbs , im on 100 mg week deratestryl for low testosterone , take .25 ldex e3d for estrogen control, on 80mg of diovan for elevated blood pressure , take centrum multi vitaim , 50 mg zinc,

    8am - 2 scoops whey - 1 cup instant oatmeal no sugar

    11am - chicken grilled , 1/2 cup brown rice , 1/2 cup boccoli

    12pm - workout 40 min - 20 min cardio

    130pm - 2 scoops whey , 2 cups apple juice

    4pm - chicken grilled , 1/2 cup brown rice , broccoli

    7pm - fish , chicken or lean steak , broccoli , 1 tsp flax

    10 pm - 2 scoops whey , 1 tsp flax

    this is what i have came up with researching this board and others , what do you think , i want to get down to 10% in 3 months ,

    Do you have separate days for weight training and cardio, or do you do them back to back as in your post?

        It looks pretty good for what your trying to do. I have read that for trying to lose fat that you should take the flax oil in the morning not at bedtime. And maybe use a casein protein at night or at least mix your whey with low fat milk at night to slow down absorption.

          I just remembered that flax will also help slow absorption as well.

            If the 2 scoops whey/apple juice is your post workout drink, I would replace the apple juice with 50g dextrose. It can be found at beer brewing supply stores.

            Cardio should really be 45 minutes to be effective.

            Diet looks pretty good.

              I would do the cardio on a different day. Weight train on one day. Cardio on another. OR Cardio ED, in the morning and weight training EOD in the afternoon.

                All good posts, and I agree with IG, I would hit cardio one day and hit it hard for longer then tear down the muscle every other day. Even on your cardio day you are going to raise cortisol levels but not as bad as if you weight train 6 days in a row. Too much cortisol will impede you muscles recovery time and can push you into over training. No growth takes place when you are over trained. You want muscle growth to raise your metabolism.
                I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

                  also im on 100mg of test e from doc and ldex for estrogen control , i should keep muscle with that right ?

                    cortisol is such a strong catabolic hormone that you could be on 4 times that and lose muscle. If you are overtraining or catabolic you need to cut back or take time off. I'm not saying you are experiencing either one of these, I'm just stating the posibility of it. Some people train 6 days a week with no problem (with lots of gear, that is), it's all based on individual genetics.
