  • Water Weight

As a female i have a tendency (when i allow myself) to gain water weight. I have been good about keeping it off but i recently have fallen off of my training. I am back on track again but i desperatley need to get rid of some of my water weight in a short amount of time. I am not trying to do anything dangerous to my health but i am really interested in any ideas that you may know of to get this off in a hurry. I have just never needed to get it off this quick so any ideas would be wonderful. I know and understand about dieting but i am in a bit of a hurry to get this off and i am afraid that just dieting will not get there in time.

If you can get a perscription from your Doc,,ask for a diuretic.. Mama and I
take flurosemide.. 20mgs works great to get rid of the excess water..
Also, you can try the Healthfood stores..They have natrual diuretics which
    dont work to bad..

Are you drinking enough water? Get a gallon per day down, if you're not already doing so. What do you mean by "in a hurry"? Diuretics can be dangerous for some.

There are a few over-the-counter products....I dont know how dependable they are. Have you possibly tried dandelion root?

I likw where Blink is going with this. If you dont get enough water, your body will retain water. Same thing with Fat, if you cut all fat out of your diet, your body will desperatly try to hold onto the fat you have. Its a survival instict in our bodies to prepare us for famine. Of course, genetics and body profile plays a big difference too. Some will be more prone to this than others.
