How do you guys think a 33/33/33 bulking diet with calories at 20 x bodyweight in lbs would compare to a ckd based diet with calories at 25x bodyweight in lbs in regards to strength, lean muscle, fat gain?
I shall be bulking in 4 weeks aiming for 8 % bf in the mean time.Btw i will be cycling with the following:
prop 75 ed weeks 1-12
tren 50 ed weeks 1-12
winny 25 ed weeks
There was a thread on hgttp/://www.bodyrecomposition.com about bulking while on CKD. I forget whast the outcome was, but, he did say that in his opinion, ketosis is not an ideal state for muscle growth. He gave an example of how to modify CKD to be used while bulking. He suggested about 100g carbs/day, which would skirt ketosis, while at the same time, allowing you to deplete muscle glycogen. He also suggested something like 1.5g protein per lb bodyweight (or was it LBM), stating that more protein would lead to gluconeogenesis.
I'm a little confused by "I shall be bulking in 4 weeks aiming for 8 % bf in the mean time". Are yoiu somewhere above that, right now, and want to lose more before bulking? If so, diet like a model, weight watchers, atkins, ckd - doesn't matter, do 45-60 minutes cardio each day, you should lose fat. Keep in mind that you may lose some lean mass in the process.
Otherwise, screw it! Maintain what you have, do your bulker/PCT, then follow up with a good cutting cycle.
