  • Cutting: Cortisol/carbs relations

Is there any relation b/t your morning carbs(oatmeal) and your coffee(caffiene, ECA, etc)...in other words, will mixing the two cause your cortisol levels to rise? I read this in a study, but wanted to get your opinions....Shiner

guessing the study had some basis in fact

realize cortisol levels are like a yo-yo, and also your test levels they will fluctuate up and down all the time

main concern is long term average

cortisol will rise with overtraining, undereating, and extended use of ECA, which raises adrenalin, and adrenalin in short med and long term will overrun cortisol rise, yet eventually it will catch up, thus a rebound effect when ECA is discountinued

in the end it is all a gentle balancing act, in which you have to figure out how your own body responds to different degrees of training, eating, rest, and supps

    hoped that helped
    good luck
