There is a killer article on pg 162 of the april 2004 issue of Muscle and Fitness that gives the best foods from the new "low carb" craze for people that are trying to cut carbs.

3 that look good to me:

    Carborite pancake mix:
    3 pankakes = 21g protien, 4.8g net carbs, <1g fat
Review: "They smelled like pancakes, looked like pancakes and even tasted like pancakes. Our testers thought they tasted better when a bit more water than the instructions recommended was added, but overall they were very satisfied"

    Keto Frosted Flakes
    3/4th cup = 17g protien 3g net carbs, 1g fat
Review: "They won't taste like the sugary cereals you ate as a kid, but we found the keto classic, honey ut and apple cinnamon frosted flakes very flavorful. Absorbs milk quickly, so eat fast."

    Keto Macaroni & Cheese
    1/3 box = 22g protien, 5g net carbs, 1g fat
Review: "Our taste tests were impresive, but only after we adjusted the package directions. We mixed the cheese packet with only 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp. of water and skipped the butter and cream. The result was a sauce that coated the pasta nicely and had a great flavor. Yum!"

There are 25 food reviews in this article. Worth heading to Barnes and nobles and reading!!

a lot of the carb free or low carb stuff is damn good. i buy maple syrup that has 1g net carbs for 1/4 cup... tastes just like the real stuff. i havent tried carborite pancakes, but ive tried atkins and i like them a lot.
