  • Protein Powders

I just got back from the gym and my roommate finished the last of my Protein. Anyhow whats a good/ the best Protein powder to get? I was taking Optimum Pro Complex, it has 4-5 different sources of protein whereas most powders are whey proteins only.

I'm think about getting something like an all whey since my diet includes lots of eggs, milk and cottage cheese already. Give me your best bet . -crombie

Pro Complex is a decent blend. It's good for daytime and as well as pre-workout nutrition is taken care of it's good for post workout as well. ON is a favorite on all the boards. Personally my favorite for post workout is Beverly Muscle Provider.

i switched to ON last year. very good!
Do you know where one builds action, stamina and guts? In the gym under the iron day after day, forever without fail or excuses or grumbling, that’s where. It’s true. I read a study somewhere and that’s what it said, really.

There’d be fewer battles, less drugs and less crime and more happy moms and dads if we all lifted weights… let’s face it. In what recent medical journal was I reading that?

I'm late into this thread, but have recently switched over to AST's VP2, and have been treating myself, to some of the Beverly International line before going to sleep. I've actually noticed a pretty decent difference since the switch. Beverly's line is typically priced way out of line at a suggested $45 for a lttle over 2lbs. (Ultra Size) But DPS sells it for $28.95, so I'm planning on keeping a couple pounds around like a said, as kind of a treat.
                I really like the VP2 at $22.95
