  • Whey protein Isolate

Whats the difference between whey protein isolate and whey protein? Is it worth the extra $$$$?

You mean whey protein isolate or whey protein concentrate. Isolates yield a slightly higher percentage per volume of protein. I personally stick to isolates, but if you are feeling cheap stick with concentrates. Optimum provides the best and cheapest mix of isolate and concentrate.

ive found out through experimentation, that the higher grades of protein, ie. isolate or exotic blends, are worth it. when i use cheap protien like optimum 100%, i often get a nasty case of the runs. conversely, when i buy high quality I dont get the runs.

to me, what good is taking protein if it runs right through you and is not absorbed?

beverly nut, syntrax nectar, and the high quality ON(i forget the name) is what i reccomend
