  • Best time to take vitamins?

    When do you guys think it the best time to take my vitamins?

    Multi
    Calcium
    Chromium Picolinate
    Vitamin C
    Vitamin E
    Ginseng Concentrate
    Glucosamine
    Chondroitin
    MSM

    My friend was telling me to take them before bed because something about blood is used to break up the vitamins and they can be absorbed more readily since your not using your muscles while lying still in bed? I think thats how he put it, don't remeber specifics but that was the general idea.

    The only way I see this would be a problem is because of the ginseng I take. -Thanks bros -crombie09

    I cannot comment directly on your friend’s opinion. However I believe that it is generally recommended to spread you vits throughout the day at mealtime. Vitamins like “C” are water-soluble and are lost through sweat and such.

        I take some in the morning, after workout, and before bed....just space them throughout the day....

          Well Vit C I can tell you should definitely be taken pre workout if not througout the day. Your multi should be taken 2x a day spread out. I recommend mega dosing Vit. C. Let me know if you want more info on that.

            I have a pil container with 4 sections (morn, after, eve, bed) and I just spread them throughout the day. Vitamin c in morning and evening before gym, multi in morn and eve, etc.

              I take my multi with food (usually breakfast ).

                Water soluble – spread out throughout the day.
                Fat soluble – any time of the day.
                Both should be taken with a meal.
