My thoughts exactly. I'm sure you guys know protein factory already failed label claims in the past. Supposedly they have changed their ways but I won't be buying from them anytime soon. I would like to see more powders tested. I can tell you that Optimum tested above label claims as well as VPX Cross Pro (yup those lying bastards make good protein).Originally posted by jsjs24

Hey guys, I actually do the websites for Chef Jay's (www.oatbar.com, and www.trioplex.com).
I'm not trying to name drop here, I don't make an extra dime if people buy, just want let you guys know that he's run a pretty small operation with his Oatbars for a while. Lately his new Trioplex bars have been going through the roof because of the whole low-carb craze.
I'll tell you though, I get samples of the newest stuff that comes out (I take the pictures for the sites), so I've tried all of his products. The Trioplex bars are pretty damn tasty.
Oh I've never met him actually, I do the site from several hundred miles away from his Vegas offices.
Hey just my two cents guys.

The product is sent to an independent lab for testing. The process is pretty foolproof. "False advertisement" implies that the claim was false. Besides, he sold this product (still does I think, with a warning that it didn't meet label claims). Even food products are not regulated nearly as much as people think they are. Dietary supplements are barely regulated at all.Originally posted by hurley99

Here is an article about an instance where someone tried to sue Label Claims Testing/1fast after a test.
