This is what I eat to get fiber:
Oatmeal
Black Beans!
High Fiber Bran Cereal
Most Veggies have fiber as well
Those are just a few off the top of my head, there are most likely a lot more. -crombie09

Most supplemental fiber that I know of is soluble. Try Fiber-One cereal. Take it slowly to begin with!!! It has 14g of insoluble fiber. A few weeks of this and you will wonder where “it” all came from. I like the taste of it, some don’t. It mixes well with almost any cereal, but especially well with Koshi’s Go-Lean Crunch. (there is a version that is not “crunch”, not as tasty)

Doesn't this cereal have wheat fiber in it though? This is why I was trying to avoid wheat products. I understand what you are trying to have me do and I don't have a problem with that. I have heard that too much fiber can cause the bloat though and thats what i'm trying to avoid. I know Kashi, is good cereal. Crunch is great, regular sucks IMO. I liked the Natures Path, but alot of fiber. I eat 5-6 egg whites with 1-2 yolks, one piece rye toast lightly marg, oatmeal, and protein shake whey CFM and add 1 tsp of glut powder, plus morning supplements for breakfast. I work in healthfoods. I remember the Soeme' now. If i remember correctly, it comes in a brown bottle liquid #7 and a powder #9. I think i will try the liquid #7 stuff. I was just wondering if the aas I'm doing oraly will have less of an effect though if i take the Soeme'#7, as it says it can deplete supplemental nutrients that pass through digestive tract. Maybe I'll just put up with it till this cycle is over, then try the liquid. PS: Whats a fast way of accumulating posts, lol! Thanks fellas for input, Mick

Momentary lapse of intelligence with the Kashi recommendation. Although I didn’t think Fiber-One had wheat, but just checked the box and it does. Fiber will cause bloating at first due to the increased gas you may have. However in the long run your body will adjust and the gas issue will resolve itself. Most people get gas when eating fibrous foods, such as beans. I eat chili almost everyday, and I no longer have gas issue due to that.
I cannot comment on AS. Obviously you feel that the bloating is not due to this. You know your body better than I.
If you feel that this is related to AS you should post your question in that forum. Be sure to mention the exact type and dosages.
