  • Anything I'm missing?

    I'm starting my first cycle next week. Here's what I'm going to take supps wise.

    1) Glutamine, 3 tsp per day (about 15 g).

    2) Creatine, 5 day loading phase at 5 tsp per day (about 25g) and regular dose of 3 tsp per day (about 15g) after loading phase.

    3) Daily multivitamin no iron.

    4)Vitamin C, 1000mg per day

    5)Calcium, 1000 mg per day

    6)Flax Oil, 3 tbsp per day (about 42g)

    7)Ultra fuel (maltodex carb drink), used after workout.

    8)Designer Whey, mostly used when I can't fit enough protein into a meal.

    Anything I'm missing here? Thanks.

    Depending on what gear your taking...what about some milk thistle and saw palmetto to help your prostate and liver. Other than that it looks good bro. Why no irron in your multivitamin?

      No iron because iron in large doses is actually harmful. I eat a LOT of red meat, so I get TONS of iron just from my diet. I don't need anymore from a multi, plus a multi is gonna give me like another 50% of my RDA on top of the too much iron I already get.

      Thanks for the reply js. Where can I get milk thistle and saw palmetto? At GNC? Are they expensive? How much should I take?

        You can get them at GNC but I just go to WalMart and get them for about 4 or 5 bucks each. Get the 160 mg saw palmetto and take it twice a day, and get the 175mg or bigger if the have it in the milk thistle....I take it 3 times a day. You need these while taking any orals gear.

                add some B complex and in my oppinion there is no need to do a loading phase with your creatine. Its just going to make go to the bathroom a lot . I've done it both ways, loading no better than just taking your daily dose. Its a waste.

                  Yellow Jacket woudl tell you that the Glutamine is a waste. (where is he anyways?) Do a search on the board and you should be able to find out why. I have used plenty of it, and I have never noticed a difference. Plus a good whey such as Optimum has it included.

                  Fish oil has properties that flax doesn't.

                      ALA works great. Take it with your carb meals. It's good all year round, cutting or bulking. It kept me more lean on my last bulk cycle.
