  • cutting regimine... check my diet please

ok... ive been working out for 5 good years now, so i think i have a good grasp of what it takes to achieve certian goals...

    I am 26. 6'3 200-205 and about 12%

I am basically trying to lean down to between 8-10% and look my best by the beginning of summer... I dont compete, so its basically all for the vanity.

anyway, i have started to increase my cardio to 30 minutes or more 4-5 days a week.

My diet is already pretty clean, and low in carbs. I guess i am just looking for suggestions on diet, or anything else that could help me drop the BF%

MY DIet doesnt va much, so here is a quick look at what i eat in order.

two packets of instant oatmeal plus a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter. (0atmeal is flavored, so i could probably cut out sugar here by switching to plain oatmeal, but i dont know if i could choak that down in the morning)

one fatfree yogurt - has 16g of sugar

protine snack - such as turkey or ham sandwich..... turkey hotdogs.... few handfulls of peanuts

    Protine Shake

HighProtine lunch - Tunafish, or chicken breast, or ground turkey....

    PostWorkout Protine Shake

High Protine Dinner... Chicken Breast, or ground turkey, fish. Egg white omlett... anyway you get the point... plus some veggies, sometimes rice.

I cheat some on the weekends, but nothing extreme.....

anyway, im just curious if i should cut out the yogurt to get some of the sugars back.... I dont really know how else to alter my diet, i think its already pretty good....

    any other suggestions ??

looks pretty good.....you could try no carbs during the week m-f and then on the weekend carb up, but don't go too crazy with the fatty foods. this would give a nice change and should work well to get away from your constant diet.

i hear a lot of mixed reviews on Clen.. some say its great, some say dont bother and just use the ECA.... I have some in the mail by the way (eca that is) is the research list still out there? maybe ill try clen closer to summer...

as for the ketto, no carbs during the week..... everything has a small amount of carbs... meat has like a gram or two

also any suggestions for no carb food during the week besides the obvious..... any snack ideas? i eat peanuts now. any thing else>? what about for breakfast? I have a hard time eating eggs first thing, thats why i eat oatmeal right now.... need to find something else i guess

i am not too big on clen myself....i stick to eca or nyc.....during the week i eat chicken, tuna, eggs, steak once in a while, protein shakes, lean pork chops, ect. when i carb up which i only did once in 3 weeks so far, i usually eat wheat bread, grains, ect. but keep protein high on the carb up days and keep fats to a normal level.

                            here you go
By Ironcurtain The new diet consists of two distinct phases: five days (weekdays) of carbohydrate depletion (a.k.a. "ketosis"), and two days (weekends) of carbohydrate loading. This seven-day cycle is then repeated ad infinitum. First off, let's talk about the first phase of the diet: five days of carbohydrate
