B-12 legal or not?

Don’t assume that just because it’s a vitamin that it is legal. That is not the case in the US.
If it is liquid B12 for oral administration it will come with a dropper to measure out the dosage, and that would be considered legal.
If it is a parenteral (injectable) preparation it may very well be considered to be “prescription only” and without a prescription it is illegal. It doesn’t matter if it is only B12 – the laws are very erratic. In the US pretty much anything (other than insulin) that is administered by injection has a stigma attached to it and is frowned upon by society and consequentially by the law.
In fact, in most states you can legally possess insulin and needles without a prescription, but a vitamin that is administered by injection can get you in trouble. It’s damn stupid, but there are a lot of stupid laws.
