    ok so i love peanuts and they are good for the health. i'm wondering, witch one is better, peanuts(unsalted) or cashews(unsalted) ??? cause i do prefere the cashews
    anyone??

      i love peanuts, peanut butter whatever has peanuts in it. almonds are good too just eat what you like in moderation and you will be fine.

        Both peanuts and cashews have some fat in them, so limit your intake on either one. Eat what you like best or switch off and get a variety.

            Almonds are lower in fat, while having mostly if not all monosaturated fats.

            Cashews are higher in fat than peanuts. But mst ofteh fat os good for you. Just watch the calories.

            Go with unsalted, it is easier on your blood pressure. If I buy nut that have salt, I put them in a metal strainer and shake most of the salt off.

              How bout almond spread? Instead of peanut butter, it's made of almonds, is this good?

                probably lower in calories and higher in monosaturated fats, which is good.

                I bought the natural cashew butter. Glad you brought it up. It is still in the fridge. No telling what is growing it now!

                  Almonds are best for your heart, but if you want to eat other peanuts, they are better for you if they are not roasted. Especially if you have high colesteriol. Like above said about almond spread, you can also buy natural cashew, regular peanut, and sesame spreads at most fine healthfood stores. Make sure they are in their natural oils though.
