  • Question about weight gainers.

    Just want to know what the best weight gainers out there? What kind of weight do they put on? Mostly fat or what? Never used any so please help me out! I'm stuck at 255lbs and want to put on some weight. Thanks!

    Most commercial gainers are loaded with maltodextrin and are acceptable post workout. Any other time, you're likely to pack on a decent amount of fat. My advice is to make your own:

    150z milk (or water)
    1/3 cup oats
    2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
    1 tablespoon flax or fish oil
    2 scoops whey powder
    1/3 cup cottage cheese (good before bed, if you add the cottage cheese, use water)

      Will I see any noticable weight gain drinking them strictly post-workout? What kind of oats are you talking about. Plain oatmeal?

                n-large is good for post workout.because of all the dextrose in it.i wouldnt take it before bed.its better(and cheeper) to make your own.

                        hey i hear a lot about b12 is it the injectable or pill's i try searching for b12 but the search won't go thru..any thread's that will give me good info on this gracias amigo
