I take 60 grams of dextrose in water during my workout. When I am done with my workout it takes about 15 minutes for me to get home. Right when I get home I drink a whey protein shake in water, but now I am wondering if I should take it with some more dextrose to speed up my recovery. Is the dextrose that I take during the workout sufficient enough to give me the insulin response I need for taking my whey after my workout. Thanks.
