  • post workout :brown rice or yellow rice??

    was just wandering if it mattered what type rice. im trying to lean out slowly .not much rice after workout just half cup.DOES THAT SOUND RIGHT ? THANKS FOR ANY HELP?

      skip the rice and eat something that digest faster. or just drink a shke.

        Yeah i would skip the rice. Drink a shake if possible. Definetly take your 500 mgs of ALA either way.

              well to me most people know there are 2 post meals!!!!! tinfish WHATwas the reason you replied NO FLAME! BUT I DONT NEED A SMART ASS!!!!!!!!

                I forget all of the details but if given a choice it should be brown rice over white rice. There was an article in M&F about the digestion of it and what not. If I can find it, I'll give you the specifics. But I do remember that brown rice is better than white. Peace.

                  hey bro here are the comparisons based on 1 cup
                  white : cals-205 protein-4 carbs-44 fat-trace
                  brown: cals-216 protein-5 carbs-45 fat-2

                  the GI is where the diference may be.i dont have my GI list here but also the brown i beleive has more fiber

                  The key if your goal is too lose weight is small portions with the carbs .
