  • Post competition diet and training routine..... time-off?

I dont compete but sometimes take 12 - 14 weeks to prepare for pics and other little things like that, like I am currently doing. I am wondering, those that do compete and put themselves through the extreme training and dieting to prepare themselves, what do you do after it is over? Do you try to get back to a normal lifestyle for a little bit? do you continue to bust your ass and stay in top shape? Do you find a median and just slow things down for a little while? Is there anyone that actually takes a good amount of time off? Just curious. I know there are those who need to stay in top shape because they do multiple competitions, but there are those who train for one event.

I gradually work myself back into a 'normal' lifestyle. You cant jsut eat everything in sight after your competition or what not. I taper up my carbs, consume more fat and train hard and heavy...
