  • Carb-up trial run...... Holding a little water.... uh oh...

I had my pics rescheduled for this friday afternoon, from this past saturday, mainly because I wanted to give my prep a trial run. I started dandelion root 2 days prior(dont think it had any effect) so im switching to Taraxatone. I cut water in half thursday and cut carbs on friday. I woke up Sat morning and stuffed my face with eggs and pancakes/syrup/butter, an hour later I had a bag of skittles and then pumped up a little and snapped a couple shots. I then cont' to carb up the rest of the day with a mixture of simple and complex carbs and then snapped some more pics that evening. I was impressed and felt i held a little water but definately felt more full and felt good. But I carbed a little more on Sunday and today I feel very very smooth. I will hit the cardio very hard the rest of the week, but do you think that this past carb weekend set me back at all, im nervous that I screwed myself up.

thanks for the reply FLEMS, anyone have experience with something like this? It is really driving me crazy thinking that I screwed up. I got called into work early this morning and didnt get to do my cardio, SHIT, now only 3 days of cardio left, I keep picturing myself being really smooth in my pics, 14 weeks of busting my ass for this to happen. I havent tried taraxatone yet and will be picking it up tomorrow, hopefully it will help.

Use 2mls of vinegar and 2 mls of lemon juice with each meal when carbing up
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul

here is a guy on Par's board who uses it during refeeds:

Results:refeed with red wine vinegar (5% acidity)
Friday night prior to refeed I consumed 30ml (2tbsp). I followed with 350g carbohydrate over the next three hours via pasta. Total carbs 350g with 30ml vinegar.

Saturday prior to post w/o shake I consumed 30ml (2tbsp), with an additional 30ml (2 tbsp) prior to large evening meal. Total carbs on Saturday 750g with 60ml vinegar.

Sunday was the same as above in sequency with less carbs, 500g and 60 ml vinegar.

Monday morning 30ml prior to post workout shake. Total carbs for the morning 150g and 30ml vinegar.

Total for the weekend refeed is ~1750 carbs and 180ml vinegar (~10ml/100g). The majority of my carbs source was pasta and oatmeal with the exception of maltodextrine pre and psot workout.

            My findings:
            Refeed without vinegar (last week)
            pre refeed:
            waiste 34.5"
            arms 16.5"
            weight 193

            post refeed:
            waiste 35.5" (+1)
            arms 16.75"(+.25)
            wight 197" (+4)

            Refeed with vinegar (this week)
            pre refeed:
            waiste 34.5"
            arms 16.5"
            weight 191.5

            post refeed:
            waiste 35" (+.5)[.5 less]
            arms 17"(+.5)[.25 more]
            wight 195.5" (+4)[same]

I notice right away by the morning after start of refeed (Saturday) I was much fuller in my muscle mass.
By the end of my 3 day split/refeed I had the appearance I had when on cycle (Nor-ADerm), in size and mass, but at 10lbs lighter, ~2" smaller waist, and much more vascularity.

I was very, very pleased at the results. I hope I was helpful in providing some feedback on the effectiveness. I will certainly use this approach again next week.
