i was wondering what everyone whose cutting or working toward whatever goal, does to stay motivated....ive been very strict in my cutting phase..making great progress (started 5'10, 205lbs @ 10% bf..now 195@8%)....buuuuuuuut we all know dieting sucks sometimes....WHAT DOES EVERYONE DO TO STAY POSTIVE AND STRICT?....I for example watch Pumping Iron prob too much..or read a bodybuilding mag or whatever it takes....id like to hear other suggestions to stay focused.........don't be bashful
I know its not real hard to get big and bulky. But how many guys are big and bulky, yet can lift up the shirt, and make the girls swoon with that chiseled six pack? Not many, if you want to look like a bouncer, dont diet. If you want to look like a bodybuilder, than diet. I have good will power. If im not eating clean, i can literally feel myself gettign fatter when i eat shitty. I swear, i cant enjoy a damn donut.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul

deep fried sugar and dough mmmmmmmmmmmmmm mm mmm. sounds way worse when you think about what they're made of and how they're made huh.
personally coming here and MM keeps me motivated. also magazines and seeing people that look better than me. but when im home alone with no mags around and not on the computer.....i really need to find another motivator . ive heard taping a pic of somebody that has your goal body on the fridge works too. havent tried that one yet....mainly cause i dont want people asking why i have some half naked dude on my fridge!!

knowing I'm going to walk out on stage in front of a theater full of people and a row of judges wearing a postaage stamp doesn't hurt...when the contest entry form and check for entry fee goes in the mail, it suddenly gets a lot easier... but dieting is a mindset. for me, it means food isn't a major source of pleasure in my life at that time. It's what I do to reach my goals
