  • Changed goals midway

I initially started my cycle of 500mg enth and 600eq for 10 weeks with my goal being to bulk. I started at 200lbs, and after 6 weeks I got up to 212 and felt bulky, clothes weren't fitting, didn't like it at all.

I like the extra muscle and want to keep it, but i'm on week 7 now and have completely changed my diet and started cutting. I'm hoping to keep the muscle I gained and get my sixpack back.

Has this happened to anyone else? I lowered my carb intake drastically, but kept the protein the same. Is it still possible for me to continue adding lean muscle without the bulk, or am I screwed?

Realizing everyone is different, I just did the same thing, and just leaned out last 4-5 weeks at same bodyweight.

    Good Luck

how many calories are you consuming a day?

You can definately still add some lean mass, it just wont be as dramatic as when you were on a high calorie diet.

Are you still running the test and EQ?

pretty hard for a 212lb guy to gain mass on 2500 calories. You say you lowered your carb intake, but kept protein the same.

How much protein are you taking in? I would up your protein intake, as well as simple fats to make up for the loss in calories.

well, i'm taking around 200g of protein per day, give or take a few..... I'm thinking about upping the protein and fat and cutting out the carbs....

I was taking in about 4000 or so calories, but lowered it to 2500 when I started cutting.

try about 300g protein, 100g of low glycemic carbs, 50g dextrose post workout, and about 150 g of good fats. This is a good recipe at your weight to stay fairly lean yet add some mass, at 212.
