I'm proud of that cake, everyone said I would have to pay $500 to $800 for it and I got that mutha for $190 and everyone complimented us on the taste..........I got into a big argument with her parents becasue they felt that $190 would be "cheap"..........goes to show you that price doesn't always reflect quality,

Space:
The people are very nice. Lots of Americans there, so if you stay in the tourist areas there is always someone that speaks English.
We traveled a lot thru the county. I was disappointed with much of the country side. It is nice, but in general not breathtaking. Plus the infrastructure is horrible. So it is hard to enjoy view when you are watching for pot holes and speed traps. One place we went was a 4 hour journey. The last hour and half I never got out of first gear. Sucked.
The country has a lot to offer. I just don’t recommend that you do a lot of traveling. Choose a destination that has lots of activities and stay put. Those beach pics are from the Pacific Coast. Not worth going just for the beach. Southwest Florida has better beaches, but you can’t surf in FL.
In general the population is very poor and the cities are dirty. Stick to the resorts.
Two places that we stayed that we really enjoyed was:
The Lost Iguana in La Fortuna. Our room had an outdoor shower, a hot tub on the porch, LCD tv, and an excellent view of the volcano. From here there are tons of activities.
The best was The Peace Lodge. Check this place out, it was fabulous.
The best way to get to Costa Rica is with Martin Air. They fly direct and cheap.R.I.P. GearedUp

She truely has the most beautiful hands.........that is why I had to drop so much dough on a ring, I couldn't think of putting anything less on her hands.
She had no clue what her ring looked like until I put it on her finger, I will try to post up a pic tonight of her ring, it is a Chad Allison design.R.I.P. GearedUp
