  • Workout Results

Hi. I just started working out in September. I will be 38 in a couple weeks. I still have a long way to go but wanted to post my results so far. I will try to update every month with new pics. For now im trying to loose all the fat I can then when I get into the 10-12% BF range Im going to start to really try to add mass.

Those are some awesome results! I recently (a little over 2 years ago) went from 285 to 175 lbs, and it sure does feel great. Now that you've stuck with this for 3+ months, just make sure you stay the course - I'm sure you will!

          Thanks guys-
I am staying the course for sure. Ive never felt better. When your late 30s and fat and out of shape some people- including myself think its all over- its not and Im not going back
leanandmean- Im on a high protien timed low carb diet and I follow a 3 day a week HIT program that uses mostly heavy weights- few (1 or 2) work sets with warm up sets before the work sets. its alot of compond movements, bench, squats, weighted dips, weighted pullups, weighted abbs, deads, bent over rows, ect- no volume at this point I loke it alot.
supps include the usual- protien shakes, fat burners, R-ALA,CLA,vitamins,magnisium,vitamin C.
Thanks again for the nice words

Im trying to get the ones who come by for a look who might be thinking they are to old and out of shape to get into a fitness program to let them know its never to late.

Honestly say, think that is one of the best picture post of a transformation I've ever seen. X-cellent attitude and fantastic job.

damn that is progress. Wish I could get my dad to do something like this but he won't. He used to be so bowed up when he was into fitness, now at 42 he says he enjoys eating too much and that he doesn't have enough time. Funny thing is he is always sitting watching tv and when i ask him to go he says he is too tired. really pisses me off. He can't really work out anymore because he tore up his shoulder really bad and like a dumbass never got it looked at, but I still wish he would do some cardio and watch his diet. I tell him the reason he is so tired is because he is out of shape. Im afraid he is going to have a heart attack. If he does at least he will know he ate everything he could. Guess the fitness bug skips a generation in my family cause his dad is really into it.I will try to get him to look at these and maybe just maybe he will change.

LSU777 email me, PM me anything I can do to help. Ive had alot of people see my pics on other boards and got alot of PMs from them saying Im helping motivate them. I love it. I was a FAT SLOB till 3 months ago. Time goes by so quickly. Everyone thinks I cant do that- it takes too long- he must spend hours a day in the gym and eat tofu and rice. I do 30-45 min cardio in the AM most days, workout 60 minutes a day in the gym 3 days a week, and eat steaks, chicken, ground beef, pork, and one day a week i eat or drink anything I can shove into my mouth. Its not hard. the hardest thing is saying IM SICK OF BEING FAT after that its a breeze
