Now don't think I'm a doctor I just started at a Holiday Inn Express last night and Wiki has good information on a condition I'm familiar with.

Question do you have any numbness or shooting pain down your leg. Trying to rule out nerve issues.

That is what I had exactly , FAI with a cam impingement and torn labrum. Pain was a level 10 at times. Sciatic pain down to the toes, terrible groin pai, you name it. The pain was at level 10 for quite awhile. Wouldnt wish that on anyone. Had the labrum repaired and the femoral head shaved down 4 and half years ago. Recovery was rough for mae and I was propbably not fully recovered for about 18 months. I am just starint to experiece the same pain again and I pray it is not that again. I hope this is not what you have 6p6

It's more common than people think in younger people.

Yes it is and what used to happen is they did nothing about it until the person got older and need a THR. Now they do the repais and stuff artho scopically but all insurances wont always cover it, and I bet it will be even worse now. I had a good team doc for the Bulls and Sox as my surgeon

No sir but it's the same leg I had a cadaver acl put in my knee last February.

Yes it sounds like FAI. You may want to look up some typical stretches and exercises that PT would do to address this. If you don't feel configurable doing this you will need to see a doctor so he can diagnose and suggest treatment. If it's not too advanced he with send you to aPT. If it is progressed, the knife is in your future.

I have pain in the ol hip due to herniated disks and the only thing that helps is a low dose of deca. I swear when I don't run it I hobble around. Good luck, hope the roller helps

If you get a hip xray, it will show FAI but it wont be able to detect a tear if you have one. I can look at a hip xray and tell if someone has FAI. Fuzo has it in both hips and needs the same surgery I had but his pain is not as bad as mine was. I think the pain was so bad for me cause the labrum was shredded. Also the fact that my low back is messed up made it a double whammy. Best of luck to you
