You could go back in 3 days or 4 weeks. Depends on the job and the surgery. What do you do? I just had a scope 4 weeks ago. I am back at work as of Tuesday. But I just wanted to take it easy and also I do Electrical Maintenance so it is pretty hard on the knees at times. My scope was for a cyst, torn cartlidge and meniscus. Also had some bone fragment that had to be cleaned up behind the knee cap. Good luck with the recovery. I am squatting 100 lbs and working my way up from there. Just take it easy...

That depends on what kind of knee surgery you had. I had Osgood Schlatter on my right knee. I fractured the bony protrusion doing a squat snatch. The doc went in and shaved it.
He released me after 4 weeks. The first day (Mon) squatting I worked with 50kg, 5 sets of 10. Second day (Wed) I used 70kg, same sets and reps. Third workout (Fri) I used 90kg, doing the same sets and reps. At the end of the second week I squatted 200kg for a single.
I lost very little strength taking 4 weeks off. So don't rush anything. You have plenty of time to get strong. BTW, I was 43 at the time.
