The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has posted a warning telling consumers to immediately stop using a product named Mass Destruction. It is marketed as a dietary supplement for muscle growth and is labeled as containing at least one synthetic anabolic steroid.
FDA was alerted by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services that a previously healthy 28-year-old male suffered liver failure and required a transplant after several weeks of using it. "Liver injury is generally known to be a possible outcome of using products that contain anabolic steroids and steroid-like substances. The product's ingredients are undergoing further analysis by the FDA," the agency's announcement states.

Mass Destruction is manufactured for Blunt Force Nutrition in Sims, N.C., and is sold in retail stores, fitness gyms, and online. An investigation is under way to identify the product's manufacturer. FDA stated that consumers who suspect they are experiencing problems associated with Mass Destruction or another body building product should consult a health care professional, especially if they have experienced unexplained fatigue, abdominal or back pain, discolored urine, or any other unexplained changes in their health.
"Products marketed as supplements that contain anabolic steroids pose a real danger to consumers," said Howard Sklamberg, director of the Office of Compliance in FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. "The FDA is committed to ensuring that products marketed as dietary supplements and vitamins do not pose harm to consumers

Jeez, wonder what was in it? They're claiming some guy needed a liver transplant only after a couple weeks of use.

I'm very skeptical to think his liver was damaged by any anabolic compound that fast. I'm sure there's other factors that they haven't mentioned. Just another way for media to add negative hype on aas IMO.
