Olive Leaf Extract May Help Diarrhea

Olive leaf extract is concentrated for the active compound called oleuropein, which is known to have excellent antioxidant and immune support properties. A new cell study shows for the first time that olive leaf extract can potently inhibit the rotovirus, which typically causes diarrhea in young children.
In the study, the olive leaf extract had a 50 percent inhibitory impact. Olive leaf is gentle on the human body, yet potentially quite useful in helping a common problem.
