Preliminary cell research shows that silver compounds are as effective as the leading chemo drug at killing breast and colon cancer cells.
It is well known to practitioners of alternative medicine and their patients that colloidal silver is one of the safest and most effective compounds for killing bacteria, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections. I recommend that every family have a bottle on hand and use as desired at the first onset of any symptoms – it can save days of down time.
Existing research on colloidal silver has shown that while it is very toxic to infection, it is nontoxic to human cells. This new research suggests that it may be toxic to human cells that have gone awry and become cancerous. While there is plenty of anecdotal hype on the Internet about using colloidal silver to help with cancer, there is a lack of science supporting such a use. However, when compared to highly toxic drugs, if a natural compound helps and has minimal risk it is at least something to consider.
The study compared various silver complexes to cisplatin, which is used to treat cancers of the lungs, breast, bladder, testicles, head and neck, ovaries and lymph nodes. Dr. Charlotte Willans, who is leading the study said, “As many are unfortunately aware, chemotherapy can be a very grueling experience for the patient. Finding effective, yet nontoxic drugs is an ongoing problem, but these preliminary results are an important step in solving it.” The study found silver to be as effective as or more effective than cisplatin. More work needs to be done to figure out exactly how silver kills cancer, what kind of silver is most effective, and what type of dose is needed for humans. However, a new scientific door has been opened.
