Most of us wish we could remember things more easily, and there may be a pill to help you do just that. An article published in the December ’10 Bottom Line Health discussed a study in which 26 adult subjects who had memory loss took either 1,000 micrograms of chromium picolinate or a placebo for 12 weeks. Those getting the supplement did much better on memory tests. The researchers believe it may be due to reduced insulin resistance. Not getting enough insulin in the brain can impair memory.
