this would be a general fasting type diet but reality is if after fasting you consume crappy meals the weight you lose wont really be good weight loss.
this goes back to the idea of eating sensible and not starving yourself is the best option for weight loss as well as general health. I believe the crappy over consumption of "diet" sodas and foods pose a much bigger risk with weight gain than real food and as for starving yourself its never a good idea.
