  • Diarheea that won't go away

Hi fg, I haven't been around in forever so here I am Turning to you for some answers lol...
Went to doc today, got full bloods to be done, forgot to mention I have had diarheea for over a month may even two it seems, not like I have to go all the time just when I do its not good, not sure why.
Breaking up with my fiancé, new career? She says stress but I just don't see it, I was taking some probiotic for a little while but it didn't seem to help.
Not sure what else to say...

    Any ideas?????

stress/anxiety will cause this. Probiotics should help but if you bought the cheapo brand from the grocery there may not be enough to do anything and it takes a good while to see results. VSL 3 is expensive but works incredibly. also PRE biotics such as a high quality kombucha and healthy fiber.

other than that, I think you must manage your stress better. i get it. I am divorcing my wife and have been through what you are going through. it is a *****

concentrating on diet and fiber intake like oatmeal and chia and omegas etc.. is great and may help but if stress is the true cause your going to get better results with focusing on removing yourself from the toxic enviorment. stress kills my friend.. sent me to the urgent care twice and emergency once. once I removed myself from the situation 48 hours and I swear I was 50lbs lighter and things began to return to normal. the blessing today is I understand stress much better and the bulldog attitude I have doesn't even try to push through stress any longer. (gladly take the long road around it.)

I cant remember how the bowels were during my 2 years of misery but my gym time suffered greatly as well as my sleep and general health . it was scary to leave the situation until I did then it was total freedom and that fear no longer exists which is the butter icing on the cake..

        good luck

No on the chrons, I do t think, I never mentioned it to the doctor, totally forgot. I'm not in any toxic environment really, we still love together, she and her children are most out which is stressful but not too bad, still had sex also Night eek haha. Maybe it will try a new probiotic also as the one I was using was good but it was older. Fiber yes I tried to get soenecmxtra fiber before and have been eating more veggies although never enough. I'm carb cycling now, needed to drop some fat so def it getting much fibre on the zero carb days...

Hmm I think ill start with a new probiotic and fibre supplement...

          Thank you

Re: Diarheea that won't go away

I have ulcerative colitis which is a step down from crohns. For me I am supposed to do a lower fiber diet because fiber is a laxative. Also low acid so no tomatoes, tomato sauce, no hot sauce, no oj and also avoid dairy. I do still have these things in moderation and I take meds but these things are triggers and something to watch and think about.

I had c-diff when I was in the hospital. I caught it there and had to stay an extra week. They put you in quarantine and make visitors put on a mask and gown .

c-diff is quite common among the elderly but never heard of young folks getting it. I suppose if your immune system was compromised to begin with then you possibly caught it secondary. man that sucks cause I am around c-diff more than I like because I have family in an assisted living facility . some one there always got that shit

When I went through my divorce I went through a bout of this. It seemed to last forever. Hopefully it's just something this simple and not a disease

Have you been taking anti acid pills long? they really are not meant to be taken long term as they end up doing the opposite of what they are taken for. maybe wait and see what your bw comes out as and go from there? You may end up having to go see a gastroenterologist
