    You’ve probably heard many times that losing weight takes time. While this is true to an extent, the exercises you choose can make all the difference in the world. In fact, with the right fitness workout, you can lose ten times the fat you normally would following a traditional workout plan. Here’s how to get ten-times the fat loss in your workouts:

    • Select compound exercises that work the entire body

    • Focus on free-weight exercises over isolation exercises

    • Keep rest periods to a minimum between sets

    • Use interval training over steady state cardio exercises

    • Eat organically, follow a diet rich in lean protein, complex (low-glycemic) carbs, and healthy fats

    • Drink water before any other liquid

    Other Helpful Fat Loss Tips

    Your fitness workout should include two main components, cardio and strength training. Since you are trying to lose weight, you will need to do cardio exercise at least three days a week. This could be anything from running outdoors, cycling, or using a treadmill or rower. Just choose your favorite means of cardio and go at it with intensity.

    The strength training part of your fitness workout will include both weight training and floor exercises. The weight training can be accomplished at gym mostly free weights, or at home using hand weights (dumbbells, kettlebells, etc.) or other equipment such as, resistance bands or suspension training.

    The floor exercises should be designed to target various muscle groups including your abs and obliques. You will also work to strengthen your back, chest, shoulders, arms, and legs. There are a number of exercises you can do. You will also want to consider varying it from time to time just for change.

    Monitor your weight loss daily or weekly. If you feel you have reached a plateau, it may be time to alter your exercises. You can do this by increasing your amount of cardio, adding more weight or reps, or simply adding more exercises to your routine. You may be amazed at how even the smallest of changes will affect you in a positive way.

    What you eat also plays an important role in your overall fitness plan. If you are exercising, but aren't eating healthy, the exercise you are dong won’t make much of an impact on your weight loss. On the other hand, if you eat healthy and exercise, you will begin seeing steady fat loss. A healthy diet is much more effective than a crash diet and will help you not only lose ten times more weight, but will also enable you to keep it off.

    Amp up your workouts to lose weight faster. When you get your heart rate up you are burning more fat and calories. As long as you are burning more than you are taking in each day, you will lose weight rather rapidly. While you don’t want to shed pounds at an alarming rate, you can really benefit from high impact aerobic exercise and losing more weight as a result.

    Add new exercises to your fitness routine to stay motivated. This will help you stay motivated and excited about your workouts. It will also help you become more determined to lose weight. This positive motivation is what will help you stay on task over a long period of time which, in turn, will promote overall good health.
