Originally posted by HighBall For those of you that do bis/tris/forearms on the same day, what do you do first?
I was thinking of tris first, because bis really heat up my forearms.
Does it matter?
Yeah bro. I do tris first because if I do bis first, the pump is too much for me to do pressdowns (or any pressing movement where I have to bend at the elbows). Do you know what I mean man?
I used to train bi's and tri's on the same day but didnt like it. I would do biceps first and move on to triceps. I prefer to work them out with a different muscle. Bi's/Chest Tri's/Shoulders.
What are your guys thoughts on alternating sets from Bi's to Tri's? ie... preacher curls straight to skull crushers then back to incline bench dumbell curls then to cable pressdowns etc.
Tinfish: Thats pretty much how i train my bi's and tri's.......supersetting bi's and tri's works the best for me, the pump i get is almost as intense as when I squat.

When I do Bi/Tris on the same day. I do whatever I feel is lagging first (just depending on my perception that day). For me - it is hard to get into to it when I mix them up.
