  • Getting back at it!

Two years after recovering from a brutal back surgery I stepped back into the gym 2 months ago. Before I was in great shape and diet was down to a t at 6ft 235lbs with low fat. I'm currently 205 lbs. Been lifting 5 days a week keeping my calories at maintenance 3000k with 200 protein, 300 carbs and 100 fat. Lifting 4 to 5 days a week. I just had my blood work done and my doc flagged me for low testosterone. So I'm going go start running testosterone at a low dose. I have been out the game for 3 years and forgot so much. What should I pair with the test to build lean muscle mass and should I change the diet up any?

I bet your natural test would bounce back after being sedentary so long. I went through the same thing. TRT is forever pretty much.

If you must do it, I take 125 mg week of script cyp. If I "cycle" which I do not often I will do a low dose of nandrolone like NPP or deca with it. that can cause limp dick.

Adding var or t-bol will add lean mass

I second what jipped said. If you're just trying to get your test levels back up, then I would keep it low at a typical TRT dosage. Honestly, since you've been out of the game for so long and your testosterone levels are low, you probably don't need anything other than low dose test at this point to see some good gains. You'd probably be pretty happy adding in a low dose test enan or cyp and bumping up your macros a little.
