I had a good discussion, about the holidays, with one of my galpals last week. and she made a great point. "With 365 days in a year yet the demand to be available on one specific day so people can get together???" so or course this got my wheels moving. Perhaps that day isn't the best for someone, but there are 364 other days that we don't try to make a point of getting together? To busy is what I hear...yet drop your stuff and make sure you attend a gathering. I don't have the answers, I do have my own solution. I have always taken a lot for the teams. Its all good, and its a process with no end date Maybe someone is at a certain place in their journey where the holiday date just does not fit in? Remember 24/7, 364 other days we can make the time if we so desire too. I feel it is good to invite, and leave it at that. No guilt attached...guilt is useless.. really non existent. Not a trip I take part in anymore. Just some pondering thoughts from me...
Stop and think what your ideal holiday day looks like...do that
