Tweeti agree sir. seems to be the same way all across the country. one of the best places i have eaten was in an old refurbed barns. a little on the pricey side but man did they load you down with food
TweetSo me and my girl went out to eat at this barbeque place thats been in town finally, when we walked up to the door she said "I dont smell any smoke, shouldn't there be some big smoker going on or something?", so we walked in and I looked around and it had the atmosphere of "Grandma's tea room", no barbeque smells, peanut shells on the floor, neon beer signs, or even a picture of a cowboy or something. The soft (and im talking soft) music in the background reminded me of being in a dentist lobby, insturmental John Denver ? no really. The menu ? $9.95 for four mozzarella sticks ! and everything was two dollars or so for sides ! I just started gettin' more pissed the longer I was trying to find something cool about the place. I mean so cheap that they couldn't put a handfull of lousy chips or a scoop of beans or slaw, fries, or something with a $15.00 sandwich ? that was probally meticulusly weighed for portion ? I sat there patiently with my best poker face as the minutes dragged on till probally 25 minutes,....then I heard a timer and microwave oven door shut when I finally layed a coupla bucks for the tea and cup of soup and split. Everytime I go out to a barbeque or seafood place they are so f#cking chincy on the food, the all claim to be so bad a$$ed but they suck ! I keep hoping it's gonna be like one of those places on Man Vs. Food or Diners, Dives, and Drive ins, with wopping portions of food pilled high on buns !?!? So I went to my "Go to" asian fare, this place has killer fresh food all the time all you can eat sushi and you name it for $6.95 ! I can say the one thing I miss about livin' in the south was the food, lil shacks with some picnic tables and pits covered with corrugated sheet metal with wisps of the smoke of oak, pecan, or mesquite gently puttin' the flavor on some serious portions of meat. Vivians and Bills barbeque in Lincolncity, Oregon,....stick to tea and quilts or something cause you suck !

TweetLMAO! Ive been to some shitty places alright. The worst is when you go in and theres no other customers because it sucks so bad. You feel like you just interrupted their gossip session or something. The cook is back there saying "ahhh shit, we have a customer. Lets put a booger on their food"
Tweethaha a bored cook is a dirty cook lmao
TweetLOL..some videos just stick in your mind and I can never forget that hidden camera video of that cook pissing in the iced tea and wiping his ass with a hamburger patty
TweetDamn I wouldn't have paid. As a unsatisfied customer.. Can we still get away with that? lol
Tweetyeah i would have lost when i heard the microwave timer go off! wtf? and 10 bucks for cheese? double wtf? no smoke in a bbq rest? way too many wtfs? everybody's trying to make a fast buck but they really do forget that you have to give to get!
Tweeti have people call me all the time asking if this place or that is OK to eat at. after doing inspections i am desensitized. but when i first started with the health dept. i wouldnt eat at a restaurant.
yeah some just suck
