Tweetwhich product of theirs are you referring to?
TweetAfter Rado's comments, I was 99.999% certain I had a fake QV product. But so I could prove it to the source, I wrote QV and asked them inspect a couple photos. Here is their answer:
==================================
Sir:
In response to your e mail, we would like to inform you as follows:
As we could observe on both pictures you kindly sent to us, on the right one
the hologram looks fake, since the QV emblem looks different than ours. We
also could see that above the emblem says "Quality Vet" instead "vet vet
vet". The only difference we presently have in our holograms is that one
leaves dots when removed and the other one have two opposing "V" slits (top
and bottom).
Our original label has rounded corners as seen on the left bottle, and the
right one looks copied and does not have the rounded corners.
For all the above, we assume you purchased a fake product and we regret to
realize that there are dishonest people who manufacture fake products.
Hoping you find all this information useful, we remain,
Sincerely,
Quality Vet.

here is the thread. scroll down a bit.
left one is real, right one fake.
Tweetwhere did you get theres from a domestic source or straight from mex?
TweetSo did they leave dots rado???
TweetThanks for putting up the link Rado.
They came from a domestic. Waaay down to line from the original. I know of at least 3 middlemen. But what can ya do?
I am working with the source(s) to see what they will do about it. Maybe I will offer my services of identifying fakes in return for better prices.
TweetThese left no dots. They ripped the label right off with them. They are obvious fakes now that I have been initiated.
TweetSo do you guys think if it doesn't have dots its fake???
TweetRC,
The lack of dots does not automatically mean fake. A crappy looking sticker which does not look like the holograms you commonly see on credit cards means fake. Not all real holos leave dots. The email I got from QV themselves stated this.
My real bottle of enantat, the holo on the box left dots, the holo on the bottle did not. But both holos look identical otherwise.
The sticker on the fake I got, which attempts to recreate the real hologram. doesn't look like a hologram at all. I looks like a silver sticker with some light gray printing on it.
Oh yeah, and the fake sticker peeled the paper right off the box and bottle.

well every one that I've come across that does not leave dot's have been fake's, as in bad wrapping, bad hologram, overfilled, over lapping of label, etc...Can't we all just get along... QV gear no matter what(unless it's fake), is good gear.......Bustanut's pics are real good one's as well.
