Tweetc'mon!!! anyone? jeez...if it was a phylisophical thread about the existance of injury's you mut's would have this at 3 pages by now!!!
Tweetok...here's the story...went working out with a friend. (fukin kids 23, ex colleage football player and kicks my ass everytime we workout!!) anyway...was doing bent over barbell rows w/275. on the 7th rep, coming down, i went too low and hit the cross bar (we stand in a squat rack). i came up kinda goofy but i straightened out and did 3 more reps. when i set down the weight i felt a little pull on the leftside of my body about 3-4inches below the pec. friday morning i woke up (the next day) and i had a little bump over my belly button. it's still there...it's about the size of a marble. its not "hard" and i can push it back in, but it comes back out. it dont hurt, just feels funky when i push on it. if i leave it alone i dont feel anything. i havnt lifted sence (went out to the lake for the weekend and today starts new training week), but i'm affraid i may make it worse....any thaughts on what this is (i'm hoping its not what i think it is...)

Tweetyeah you pulled something- I'm trying to remember the name of it- I think it is still called a hernia- I would defiantely get it checked before I lifted heavy again
Tweettore an intercostal m. most likely.
Tweetwell, the first part anyway. the marble part sounds like an abdominal hernia. You probably injured multiple structures trying to be Superman...
TweetI had a friend that had a hernia like that. He kept pushing his in all the time because he didn't want to pay for surgery but I read that can cause that $hit to rot but he went like a year before he got his fixed and he kept working out but after each set he'd have to push his $hit back in.
Tweetdammit...i was affraid it was a hernia!! it absolutely does not hurt...not even a little!!!!! dammit...i aint got insurance...shyt....did your boy keep lifting heavy klash? did it get worse? any thing i shouldnt do? ( sit ups, leg raises, BENT OVER FUKIN ROWS!!!)

Tweet^stop dude!!! lol...i didnt think it was all that bad...maybe i didnt warm up enough. i did 3 more sets of that weight. 1 of 10 reps and 2 of 9 ..thats what i dont get...the pull below my pec was slight and very, very dull the next mornig. my lats hurt worse!! nothing felt like an injury, there was no "popping" noises or "ripping" sounds or anything.
