Ive aspirated maybe 3 times in 20 yrs. Personally I dont see the need. Im just talking experience, not what ya read in books.

To each their own though. Thats what makes the world go around.......

well I do, but that fact is that you must understand that blood pressure is alot higher than you think. If you are truely in a blood vessel, it will be very hard to inject because you have to overcome the blood pressure. JUst my view on the whole thing

I was told that if u are in a blood vessel u dont even have to pull back, the blood will start going into the syringe and you will see it right away. That is what a nurse told me and prolly why they dont aspirate, (which goes with all your experiences that had nurses not aspirating).

      ?????????

When injecting delts with the non-dominate hand I find it hard to aspirate. How hard do you have to pull? I mean if you hit a vein I imagine that the plunger will move easy. I have a hard time to get even small airbubbles with my other hand

You don't have to pull very hard.
I've always found that if I hit a spot that draws blood it does indeed pull back VERY easily. I've never had it simply fill with blood without drawing back though.

If I have to pull with a little force on the plunger I can usually tell I'm good - it is more difficult to draw back if you're creating a vacuum as FUZO explained.
