TweetPrednisone is basically the exact opposite of an anabolic steroid. It causes muscle loss, bone loss, increases fat storage, high blood glucose levels. Prednisone is much stronger than cortisol on a mg per mg basis.
Also crohn's has been linked to the Mycobacterium Tuberculosis infection. There is two antibiotics that have to be used long term to knock out this infection for good. Please read about it on:
