I hope to gather a consensus of the Vets here to help determine my course of action.

I have a little gyno behind both nips from Estrogen rebound following a long 18 week cycle that ended last fall. It went untreated at the time because of non-medical reasons I will not get into here - its not relevant anyway. So, its been several months, and I now have a boatload of Nolva that I intend to use to reduce or eliminate the offending tissue. After researching the issue, I have decided to run 80mg ED until I see it reduce significantly or disappear, and then 20mg ED for another month or two.

I had also planned to start a cycle this Winter/Spring - most likely just a Test & Eq cutter at moderate dosages. I have opted for higher quality gear this time around, as well as aromasin to hopefully prevent any conversion of Test.

      The questions are these:

1 - How would you critique my proposal for eliminating the gyno - dosages/time, etc?

2 - Can I run the cycle at the same time (cutting) or should i wait until I resolve the gyno issue? The aroma, in theory, should completely eliminate aromatization. So there appears to be no conlflict between the two, right?

I've spoken to a couple bros already, but I'll take any additional advice I can get before making a final decision. What do you guys think?

I personally am not very experienced in this area, as i have not had problems with gyno, but i have heard success with nolva and using it with something else, but i can not remember...maybe it was proviron? I think Ed brought this up in a post a while ago, so you may want to ask him. I wouldn't advice starting a cycle until this issue is resolved.

when u say gyno tissue what do u mean? fat? or lumps? and i wouldn't start cycle till its where you wanna be. the aroma will help it not progress further but you will have a much harder time gettin it resolved on cycle. i will be starting nolva theropy for the same reason when it gets here.

ID WAIT AND TRY IF OFF CYCLE TO SEE IF IT DOES IN FACT HELP WITH THE GYNO FIRST. KEEP AN EYE ON IT TES.

In clinical settings, the gyno treatment you outlined has shown to reduce lumps up to 80%. As for real world results im not sure. I woudl tak eit easy on the cycle until the issue is resolved.

the lumps DO go away. i've had gyno 3 times and every time the lumps went away with nolva theropy. the thing i'm having "wishful thinking" about is if the nolva will help burn away the estrogen related fat around my nipps. i've read somewhere about it and then the other day my buddy who is a nurse said he read a study by a doctor that claims nolva will help get rid of that fat. so its experiment time!

I a similar study - maybe the same one - that said lumps were resolved after 6 weeks (?) in 80%, and fatty tissue significantly reduced or eliminated in a lower percentage. I'll have to dig up the study - I think I read just the abstract though.

Anyway, I am at about 15% bf right now, so its hard for me to tell what is what. I do have some fatty tissue over the pecs, but I am not sure if its gyno-related . . . thats one reason I was thinking of doing the cutter at the same time. Its a lot harder to cut w/o AAS!

i'm not 100% sure yet. most likely just 40mgs a day. if i had lumps i would go with a higher dose till those went away then drop it. i don't so i'm mostly likely gonna keep it even. i have at least 3 months before i can cycle again cause of an injury so i have some time to play with.

i have a pea-sized hard lump under the right side - very small. But there is more above/around it that is neither hard nor as soft as fat. I have a little of that same kind of tissue under my left nipple too. Overall, it not terribly noticeable, but the nipple areas (mostly the right side) look just a little puffy. I'm afraid that when I cut my bf though, that there might be more that will be visible.

      Here's the study:

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Management of physiological gynaecomastia with tamoxifen.

Khan HN, Rampaul R, Blamey RW.

Professorial Unit of Surgery, Department of Surgery, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham NG5 1PB, UK. hamimi@dsl.pipex.com

AIMS: We aimed to confirm suggestions that tamoxifen therapy alone may resolve physiological gynaecomastia. METHODS: A prospective audit of the outcome of tamoxifen routinely given to men with physiological gynaecomastia was carried out at Nottingham. Men referred with gynaecomastia had clinical signs recorded, e.g., type (diffuse 'fatty' or retro-areolar 'lump'), size and possible aetiology. They were offered oral tamoxifen 20mg once daily for 6-12 weeks. On follow-up patients were assessed for complete resolution (CR), partial resolution where patient is satisfied with outcome (PR) or no resolution (NR). Success was either CR or PR. RESULTS: Thirty-six men accepted tamoxifen for physiological gynaecomastia. Median age was 31 (range 18-64). Tenderness was present in 25 (71%) cases. Sixteen men (45%) had 'fatty' gynaecomastia and 20 had 'lump' gynaecomastia. Tamoxifen resolved the mass in 30 patients (83.3%; CR=22, PR=8) and tenderness in 21 cases (84%; CR=0, PR=0). Lump gynaecomastia was more responsive to tamoxifen than the fatty type (100% vs. 62.5%; P=0.0041). CONCLUSIONS: Oral tamoxifen is an effective treatment for physiological gynaecomastia, especially for the lump type.

I read about another longer study that also showed positive results, but I cannot find it. I know nothing is guaranteed, but its worth a shot.

it sounds like the lump has broken up but still there a bit. i don't see the need for u to go higher than 40mgs ED. i had big lumps behind both nipps and 40mgs ED got rid of them. run it at 40mgs ED for a couple of months and see how it goes

nolva shrunk my peasize lumps in both nips within a week at 40mg. You'll never get 'rid' of gyno unless you get it cut out. I personally believe the nolva does help keep it under control.
