TweetInsulin resistance is when the body cannot utilize the normal amount of insulin secreted from the pancreas.
Hyperglycemia is when the body cannot remove enough glucose from the blood. This is not the same as insulin resistance.
Tweetwell good luck bro. be very careful, ur using alot of different hormones. i for one will never do slin again, i did everything by the book and still went hypo....caught off guard too. and i'll only use t3 to kick my thyoid in the ass when hyper starts to set in.

The basic defect in all patients with diabetes is the decreased ability of insulin to induce cells of the body to remove glucose (sugar) molecules from the blood. Whether this decreased insulin activity is due to a decreased amount of insulin produced (e.g. Type I Diabetes), or from the insensitivity of the cells to a normal amount of insulin, the results are the same...blood glucose levels which are too high. This is termed "hyperglycemia" which means "high glucose in the blood".
https://syndromex.stanford.edu/InsulinResistance.htm
Insulin resistance occurs when the normal amount of insulin secreted by the pancreas is not able to unlock the door to cells. To maintain a normal blood glucose, the pancreas secretes additional insulin. In some cases (about 1/3 of the people with insulin resistance), when the body cells resist or do not respond to even high levels of insulin, glucose builds up in the blood resulting in high blood glucose or type 2 diabetes. Even people with diabetes who take oral medication or require insulin injections to control their blood glucose levels can have higher than normal blood insulin levels due to insulin resistance.
True the two are not exactly the same thing, but the result IS exactly the same.
Tweetthings like k-r-ala can help one become more insulin sensitive. Many people opt for insulin while on GH for this reason also, e they become more and more insulin resitant as the GH use continues.

Tweetok i just realized I was confusing hypothyroidism with hyperglycemia. but can one of you guys explain to me exactly whats happening when i was going hypo from being on hgh for a while?
Tweetdamn seems like alot problems from hgh, is it worth it, i mean would you do it again big mike. in your avatar you look great bro keep it up and stay safe.
TweetThe only problem I see with it is that it costs too much!
TweetOk, now after going over a few different papers, I will admit, I was wrong as insulin resistance can cause hyperglycemia.

TweetYea, you are right. Low insulin will make higher levels of glucose and high insulin levels will make lower levels of glucose.Originally Posted by HungarianBeast
