TweetNever really had elbow joint problems before until I took some Winny for a month ( may be a coincidence cause I have been training REAL heavy ), stopped the Winny at least 3 weeks ago but my elbows constantly sore/achy. Been using elbow pads ( ACE ). Any other way to relieve this?
Thanks in advance.

TweetI've been taking Gluc,Chond,MSM for about a month. My pain went away for a while... until post-cycle that is. My shoulder throbs and aches now. Haven't worked out in a 4 days... it sucks.
TweetThanks to all!Originally Posted by Friggemall

The pain is right at the elbows inside.
They especially ache when I do curls and skullcrushers.
Anything that stresses the elbows.
Water intake is moderate.
No oils at all.
Where can I get Flexamin. Bextra would be nice. Seeing the old Doc is a task in itself.

TweetIf you want to kill two birds w/one stone, next time you run gear incorporate some deca into the mix. This will lube your joints. Until then, gluco/chondroitin will help, but don't expect it to work like aspirin. It takes a few weeks to build up in your body.
TweetExcellent thread , and good advice im having the exact same problem
chiroprater recommended , something called graston technique that
breaks down scar tissue in the elbow and thus the healing begins.
but i will do a search for more info on bextra is it an anti inflammatory?
TweetUsed Celebrex with great success..Had to see the doc for it though....
Obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated..

TweetHavent any of you tried Adequan? Go to a vet site buy some and try it you will be hooked.
A little info on Adequan
FAST ACCESS TO THE JOINTS: Beneficial levels of Adequan are already at work in all major joints within two hours after intramuscular injection, with even greater uptake (up to 73% higher) in joint tissues that are inflamed or diseased. LONG-TERM EFFECTS: Adequan relieves the pain and disability of joint damage, and the relief has been shown to last up to 6 months or longer. BREAKS THE DESTRUCTIVE CYCLE: Adequan binds to damaged cartilage and boosts cartilage metabolism, facilitating repair processes. At the same time, it blocks the action of destructive enzymes that promote joint inflammation, break down the synovial fluid, and attack the cartilage. RENEWS THE JOINT FLUID: Adequan stimulates the synovial membrane to manufacture new synovial fluid to replace the thin, degraded fluid of joint disease. By doing so, Adequan helps lubricate, nourish, and clean the cartilage.
First, Adequan has important antiinflammatory effects, so it is able to provide relief from the symptoms of joint damage: heat, swelling, pain and lameness. And Adequan can be found in synovial fluid at full therapeutic levels within only two hours of an intramuscular injection. Also, Adequan is a product with potent ability to block the action of the destructive enzymes that threaten to perpetuate the joint inflammation, attack the cartilage and break down synovial fluid.
Second, Adequan also stimulates the synovial membrane to manufacture new, viscous synovial fluid to replace the thin fluid that was produced when the joint became injured. By improving this fluid, Adequan helps the joint regain its ability to lubricate and guard itself against further inflammation, and helps reestablish nutrition to the cartilage.
And, Adequan attaches itself to damaged cartilage where it has a positive effect on cartilage metabolism. This should favor the cartilage repair process.
Adequan is the only joint treatment proven to reduce the inflammation and pain of degenerative joint disease, but also to help stop the degenerative process while stimulating the production of new joint fluid and new cartilage components. You are no longer just treating symptoms: you're doing something to help stop the degenerative process.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: The recommended dose of Adequan® in horses is 250 mg (1 vial) once a week for five weeks, intra-articularly. The joint area must be shaved, cleansed and sterilized as in a surgical procedure prior to injection. Do not mix Adequan® with other drugs or solvents.
Dosing for humans --Adequan and Arteparon are the same substance.
Arteparon has been used in veterinary medicine in Europe for over two decades for treatment of degenerative joint disease. The drug is administered directly into the diseased joint to improve functional properties of the cartilage and to stimulate cartilage metabolism. The effect of Arteparon administered intraarticularly or intramuscularly has also been investigated in humans with osteoarthritis of hip-joints. Patients received either six injections with 125 mg/0.5 ml intraarticularly or 10 injections with 125 mg/0.5 ml IM. Reduction of pain, and improved function and motility of the treated hip-joints was observed, and results were similar irrespective of the method of administration.
I have used Adeqaun for awhile while its not a miracle cure all it worked wonders on my knees and elbows. My experience with it has been side effect free and nothing but good.
I have used it both ways IA i dont recommend unless you know exactly what you are doing and by the way it burns like fire when injected directly into the joint. IM is by far the hot ticket and not that uncomfortable.
I have more info on it and some studies i found awhile back when i researched it before using it.If you guys are interested i will post it.
