TweetThe manufacturer of the former Spanish Oxitosona 50 tablets, Syntex Latino, recommends a daily dosage of 0,5 - 2,5 mg per pounds of body weight. A bodybuilder weighing 200 pounds could therefore take up to 500 mg per day which corresponds to 10 tablets. . A dosage sufficient for any athlete would be 0,5 - 0,8 mg per pound of body weight/day. This corresponds to 1-4 tablets; i.e. 50-200 mg/day.Originally Posted by edvedr

TweetMy 2 cents:
There are risks worth taking if your life is on the line that aren't worth taking just to get bigger.
Keep in mind also that they are only risks. You could take 200 mgs or more of drol everyday for a year and have nothing happen - or you may experience significant negative side effects. They are "risks" because they aren 't sure to happen.

TweetMike, I am not a doctor, I really don't have much to base an argument on. I'm dubious about the dosing you quoted, are you sure that they meant pounds and not kilograms?
According to the FDA literature on Anadrol, they recommend dosage at 1-5mg /KG bodyweight, used for 3-6 months. Seems to corroborate what your saying........except for a couple of important things.
Anadrol is prescribed to treat very serious diseases. Just because it is FDA approved, it does NOT mean that taking the drug is without the risks that we all know about. What it suggests, is that the risk of Anadrol therapy is worth taking, in light of the disease it has been rpescribed to treat.
It's also recommended that the patient undergo periodic liver functionality tests. I can't imagine that any doctor prescribing Anadrol wouldn't run liver function tests every 3-4 weeks during the course of therapy.
Bottom line: just because it's approved to treat certain medical conditions, doesn't make, even it's prescribed use, safe or without risk.
