And rado i don't think xanax is for people who are "just plain fucked up" maybe that was the 1st opinion by medical staff, but poeple who research the meds effects do come up w/ other uses, possibly to keep someone like me from killing people who speak before thinking? thanks again for the help bro's.

I will correct myself then, that was my verb usage. I just hate when I see posts about Xanax this and that when people(most) will try to get it for rec usage rather than med usage.


I do believe some people need it because other meds will not work, but if you do some research, you'll see that Xanax is NOT something to used or taken lightly

1st off rado thanks for your opinion, and looking out for a bro. much respect. but i've done my research and am not into rec. drug use. my knowledge in the medical field is excellent. i didn't want to ask my doc. about gear because i live in fairly small town and my family is involved in the medical field and feared some miscommunication might happen (if you catch my drift). but since it can be "off the record" i stand a good chance of this info not being passed on. as i said i take xanax to take the edge off when my blood has boiled over, along w/ other medical conditions this is the best for me and works better than others (xanax major drawback is addiction, which is only a concern for the week minded and undisciplined). i've talked to some of the better phd.'s in this field over the years and have covered all your points long ago. i just thought i would see if anyone has ever had (or heard of)any problems w/ the elevated bp levels from gear conflicting w/ the efferts of xanax trying to lower them. thanks again.

Most anxiety pills will lower your BP rather than to increase it. If you ever check your BP when having an anxiety attack or all anxious, you'll see that it's high rather than low, duh.

What you're doing with the meds and gear is like drinking Red Bull with Vodka, not a good combination, although it may feel good.

You also have to remind yourself that being on AS is enough beating on your body, taking these meds, increase it even more. All the meds HAVE to filter through the liver and so those orals of AS.

I suppose you could ask hypothetical questions, but even that would not somehow be subject to any more than the standard physician-patient privilege, which is not an absolute bar to disclosure. A doctor is required to keep accurate notes of your visit, and will do so to cover his ass for his malpractice carrier. Maybe you have a doctor that will not write it down, but that is just because he is doing you a solid - it has nothing to do with the legality of it.

You can beg to differ all you want - it doesn't change the law.

What you have is an example of a doctor doing you a favor, but it doesn't have anything to do with what can be forced to be disclosed. The physician-patient privilege can be waived in several circumstances, the most common of which is if the patient sues someone for physical injury. Their doctors will typically be deposed and asked about everything they talk about with the patient. At this point the doctor will either lie (and commit perjury - thereby putting his license at risk) or tell everything you talked about. There is no exception for things you told him "off the record."

As far as reporting your activity to law enforcement, you are right. But I never said they would, only that the p-p privilege is not somehow extended to an absolute bar to disclosure of topics covered "off the record."
