TweetYikes! Sounds like its gonna hurt! Hope you feel better soon!
I guess BP is out for a while ?
Tweetjust had my gyno removed Fri. Left side was bigger and had more blood vessels bc I had started to develop it when i was 13. They were larger than I had expected. My doc did it in his office. Didn't take too long but i needed a lot of lidocaine. I'm not in much pain now either, but I am swollen up. Shouldn't be any noticable scarring. For all you guys who talk about spending thousands and such, naw, It ain't that bigga deal U r getting ripped off. My doc was going to write it off as a lipoma so insurance would cover.

TweetWhat kind of doctor did you go to? How did you bring it up? Give us some details!
TweetGlad it went well. How much would it have cost w/o insurance?

Strength, Power, and Love of the game is all you need.
TweetWell, I'd be a liar if i said i wasn't lucky. I did, however, look around at the local clinics and I inquired of fellow gym warriors about their doctors and what they know of the ones around town. As it turns out, I found a guy, a former boxer and powerlifter, who is familiar with (and sympathetic to) athletes' needs. He's an incredible and extremely knowledgeable guy who I've had the pleasure of doing some heavy ass squats with.
Anyhow, first thing i did was get assured of patient-doc confidentiality, then I was just straight forward about everything (I was just after regular bloodwork at the time)
