Is it alright to use an ECA while on prozac?

Depends what you are on prozac for. If it's depression I don't think eca will effect you much. Anxiety and eca might drive you insane. As with anything just start out and see how you feel. It will not kill ya taking it a couple times.

I believe the warning label on ECA products states not to use if you are using an MAO- inhibitor drug...and I believe prozac may be in this classification, not totally sure...so I'll leave it at that..perhaps others would know for sure

Prozac isn't a MAO- inhibitor. It is a ssri drug.

      Manic,

Most likely, ( can never predict the future and we all react different, so proceed with caution ) , if you take the ECA it will offset to a certain percentage the effects of the prozac, which you should notice either that day or within a day or two.

If you are using it for energy, try one cap and one cap only and see how it goes...and then adjust from their for your tolerance.

If you are using ECA for cutting, it can be done, but diet has to be in excellent order. What you are trying to do here is find a balance between the prozac and the ECA. Try something like one pill for two days and then off for two days, then one pill for one day and then off for two days...it is going to be some schedule like that with more time off than on

You cannot stay on the ECA 2-3 pills a day, several days in a row without negatively impacting the chemical imbalance of the brain, you will be going backwards not forwards.

It can be done, just be 10 x's more paitient and proceed with caution.

Also, if you get too speedy, do not try and overmedicate on the downside if possible, that puts you on a violent roller coaster of ups and downs, which is what you eliminated with the prozac in the first place.

      Hoped That Helped
      Good Luck

Don't take offense, but some of the women that I have talked to say that prozac makes them eat less and lose weight. Have heard the same from dudes too. Try tweaking your diet before the ECA. There aren't many research articles written about ECA and Prozac taken together. I'd be careful.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of literature now that says people on Prozac also gain weight. It seems to be a very individual thing.

I did not know that. I stand corrected. Doesn't it (Prozac) affect your heart rate though?
