TweetI hear so much stuff about steroids in magazines,books,media and on net about how dangerous steroids are,and then there are those who say if you know what you're doing the danger is almost non-existant.

Anyway,I'm epileptic and on medication which keeps me real thin and makes it basically impossible to gain weight,on top of all that I have a very high medabolism.

I want to gain weight,I'm at the moment 6"2 at only 175lbs and want to put on at least another 40lbs,so I've been considering steroids and have done alot of research.I however, can't find any info on effect steroids has on petit mal seizures and combining with other meds.

Anyone know if taking steroids can have an effect on my meds and epilepsy?

I have tried asking my doctor but because steroids is illegal he will not give me a straight answer.He just says he doesn't know if it will have an effect on me,but does know that anyone taking steroids will die in 3 months,which I know is crap.

I know someone who has taken roids since high school and is still alive,he's now in his 30's and still taking it.Of course he'll probably won't be alive much longer since that is too long a time for taking steroids.

TweetThis is something a doctor should be informing you on...find another doctor if you have to...call offices and try to find out...research at you library if you have to. You have to find out first from a doctor what the consequences would be if you mixed up you medicines. That is foremost.
