Not sure about the VA, but the most important thing is to be completely honest with you're doctor. If you lie, you may just end up hurting yourself. Find a doctor that will treat you as a patient medically and not judge you. I believe that doctors have to abide by privacy agreements, so there should be no concern about losing your insurance. Maybe someone else could elaborate.

yeh, there bound by law to keep there mouth shut......even if you say your selling gear, they can't say shit. Go in there and talk as if your best friends......your doctor is there to help you, not to get you busted.

I agree with the above but they might disclose your AS usage to your health insurance company. Im pretty sure I read that it gets documented.
That might not be a good thing down the road IMO.

The very first time I would just ask for blood work. Research a little before you go though because you need to ask for specific tests. If something comes back off (not just a little, but way off) I would consider disclosing my past. If everything comes back normal, why tell?

      Thumbs up

      Well said NB.

Yes it will be expensive but so are your cycles. Personally, for peace of mind and safety cost would not be a factor. Good luck babe!!

I agree with NB except for the "not too costly" part. I don't know what kind of money you have (as I'm just a poor college student), but DAMN. Doctor visits are AT LEAST $50. Lab tests can EASILY run a few hundred dollars. I'm not saying it's not worth it, but don't blow it off like it's nothing

      Sorry about the confusion.

But despite safety being the most important thing, God knows most steroids users put safety on the back burner. Especially when a doctor visit and blood work can cost as much as a 6 month cycle!

Nubian is right....Insurance companies do have and access personal information on your medical history. If they see something that is a profit risk factor for them such are steroids there is a good chance you will loose your insurance. Remember it's all about money, and I guarantee the insurance company will not be more happy to pay for incident related problems. The same thing is happening with Home insurance, people who have made one or two claims are now being cancelled at the discretion of their insurance companies, and once they are cancelled it is very hard to get with another company for a resonalble price.
