The antibiotics that interfere with birth control pills do it by effecting metabolism of drugs. Very few antibiotics do this, so I wouldn't worry about that interfereing with the anti-e's. If you tell me the antibiotic I can be more certain.

I'm no expert on gyno, but I would imagine the symptoms are prgressive, and that they don't come and go like your symptoms.

I seriously doubt its gyno, nor would it interact with anti-e's to cause gyno. Your probaly just super conscious of it right now, if you werent on, you barely would of gave it a passing thought.

Just today I switched from doxycycline to minocycline - the Dr. said it isn't as photo-sensitive so I shouldn't keep burning. I know the doxy didn't have any effect on my anti-e's and the Dr. said mino is almost identical. I wouldn't worry about it. However, I know there are websites that run drug interaction searches. You could put in mino and tamoxifen and see what comes up.

Do you burn on the mino at all?

MINOCYCLINE has been said that it inhibits protien synthesis abit, but I have used it and never noticecd it so it must be very little.

Minocycline shouldn't cause a problem with your anti-e's. I still don't think you have gyno. I'd be careful with the tanning, as minocycline can cause photosensitivity.
